  Introduction  The Latin word jurisprudentia, which means “science or knowledge of law,” is the root of the English word “jurisprudence.” It is a very broad field of study that encompasses numerous philosophies and theories about the origins of law. The study’s scope also encompasses how law interacts with people and other social structures. We derive law from many different sources. Many jurists and academics have tried to categorise the origins of law. However, laws, court precedents, and conventions are the most prevalent sources across all of these categories.
